The GORE® DrySeal Sheath with Hydrophilic Coating provides easier insertion and removal during endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA).
The GORE® DrySeal Sheath with Hydrophilic Coating aids surgeons by offering:
- Enhanced Control: Hydrophilic coating is designed to increase sheath lubricity and minimize coating particulation, allowing easier insertion and removal
- Innovative Engineering: Our hemostatic valve pressurizes and seals to minimize blood loss
- Comprehensive Design: Device includes an introducer sheath with attached valve, dilator, and 2.5 ml valve inflation syringe
- Choice of Profiles: Available profiles range from 12–26 Fr
The GORE® DrySeal Sheath with Hydrophilic Coating is engineered to minimize blood loss during AAA and TAA repair procedures, even with multiple tools simultaneously in place. Our innovative sheath features hydrophilic coating designed to increase sheath lubricity and reduce coating particulation, allowing for easier insertion and removal during endovascular procedures. With a working length of 28 cm, the device offers a unique hemostatic valve that is pressurized to create a seal, minimizing blood loss while accommodating multiple wires and catheters. This eliminates the need to manipulate the sheath to maintain hemostasis during the procedure.
